The fire investigators strike force is a non profit association of Fire Investigation professionals dedicated to the education of fire investigators and other related professions. We provide an on-going source of training on current topics and advancements in the science of fire investigation.
To provide a means for investigators from different agencies to create and cultivate relationships which will further the investigation of fire causation.
To act as a vehicle for increased visibility and professionalism of the role of the fire investigator.
To provide a venue where the many disciplines charged with the responsibility for determining the origin and cause of fires can meet and exchange information and ideas.
The FISF Membership would like to congratulate FISF Board President Mitch Kushner for 37 years with the OSFM K-9 Fire Investigation Arson Division. Mitch will start with the Skokie Fire Department as the Fire Prevention Specialist. Mitch will remain the FISF Board President.
